GENERAL TERMS CONDITIONS

Agency & Limited Company

Unique Destinations acts both as a travel agency, and is registered as a Limited Company with the Commercial and Tax Authorities
in Chile (Sii), for that purpose.  We sell various travel related products on 
behalf of numerous transport, accommodation and other wholesale service
providers, such as hotels, airlines, coach, rail and cruise line operators.
Unique Destinations’ obligation is to make travel bookings on behalf of clients and to arrange relevant contracts between these and the travel service providers listed.  We have no responsibility for the delivery of those services nor do we make or give any warranty or representation regarding their standard.   All bookings are made subject to the terms and conditions, and liability imposed by the providers.

Availability

At the time of providing any proposal, all hotels and/or tours mentioned will have
availability, however this is subject to change until the booking has been
confirmed by payment of a deposit.

Prices/Booking Confirmation

All prices supplied in the tour proposal are subject to change until the booking
is confirmed and a deposit has been paid.  Note:  In addition to any air Booking
Fees that  may be charged by Unique Destinations for the process of researching,
reserving and booking any flights required*,  charges (of approx 2%) will be made for EACH BANK TRANSFER required to send the requisite amounts  from travellers' banks to our bank in Chile, and onwards to service providers. This is to cover the Bank Charge and Tax levied on our accounts for each such action.  Full visibility of such charges can be provided if required.

Passports, Visas, Reciprocity Fees and other Personal Documentation

It is the traveller's responsibility to ensure that they have valid ID, passports, visa and entry permits which meet the requirements of immigration and other
government authorities as required.  Unique Destinations will make every effort to assist, drawing on our experience of travel regulations.  Foreign visitors to the various South American countries must show their passports and relevant visa entry details to hotels to prevent tax (IVA) charges.  All travellers must have a
valid passport for international travel and many countries require at least 6
months validity from the date of return travel home.  Where car hire and/or activities requiring personal documentation is required (e.g. fishing/hunting licenses), it is similarly the responsibility of each traveller to ensure he/she is in possession, and can show, the necessary licences/permits, etc.

Health/Vaccinations

It is the traveller's responsibility to ensure that they are aware of any health or
vaccination requirements prior to their travel.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of bookings is permitted at any stage, however please note that
cancellation fees and penalties will apply, depending on each of the suppliers' terms when booked.
