Ponta dos Ganchos also provides a fitness centre, cinema, business centre, restaurant, bar, lounge, games room, tennis court, heated swimming pool, massage tents, SPA by Christian Dior and nature trails, most included with the all-inclusive rates. Close to the resort is one of the best sites for scuba diving in South Brazil, Arvoredo Island. In addition, there are excellent destinations for boat trips, and the region is immersed in history and tradition. With its small fishing villages whose inhabitants are descendants of the first immigrants from the Azores, it is a slice of old Brazil from the colonial period. Bungalows range in size from 3,300sq ft, such as the Especial Esmeralda Bungalow, which has a large open-plan bedroom and living area, with an infinity swim-lane pool, sauna and spa bathroom with sea-view, and a private fitness centre on a lower floor, amongst other special details. Other bungalows offer similar luxury facilities in lesser space, down to the 860sq ft Anhatomirim Bungalow, that offers best value and great style. All have sea-views, private terraces and a clean style of decoration that is welcoming and warm. (see main website for updated Rates)
Special Packages are also available on request. A 3% VAT fee will also apply. All bungalows are for 2 people. The tariffs are all-inclusive of accommodation, breakfast, and use of most of the resort facilities. They do not include other meals, beverages, transfers from Florianopolis (US$ 165 return), nor Spa/Massage treatments. In January (Peak season), a minimum stay of 4 nights is required.
Note: Except on special occasions (eg Christmas) guests under the age of eighteen are not able to be accepted, in order to maintain the peace and tranquillity that the resort’s other guests expect and also because of the nature of the local terrain.
